why did I do that?

Today while the girls napped I ate ice cream and watched 30 Rock on DVD. I ate a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's. I just kept going. (Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. MMM.) Then I calculated the calories and fat grams.

Grand total: 1120 calories & 61 grams of fat.
IN TWENTY MINUTES.

I've felt defeated, gross, mad, guilty, frustrated, trapped, weak, shameful, angry, and fat for six hours.

Just try to believe in Chad's theory...and then be "good" for a week because you can look at a week's grand total versus that one day's total...

And at least it sounds like you ENJOYED it. To me, it would be even worse if I wasted all those calories and fat on something only so-so, you know?

If it's any consolation, that is something I have totally done before. Ice cream is soooo good.

Dude...I did the same thing 2 weeks ago..only replace the B&J with a pint of Andy's Mint Chocolate Chip. It's soooo good! Besides, I heard it's better for you just to down the whole thing and take on all those calories at once as opposed to splurging in little bites. (who can really do that anyway?!) Now, I don't have any info to back that up. Oh and I just ate some Cold Stone Creamery. We had a coupon that ended up NOT being a coupon. Whatever...sorry for the manifesto..
